- Key Objectives and Scope of the Position ● As Lead UI/UX Designer for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at BMW China, your role is to ensure that the ADAS features developed for all BMW vehicles in China provide an intuitive and seamless interaction between the driver and the vehicle. Given the rapidly evolving ADAS technology, your expertise will be crucial in continuing the journey to translate complex functionalities into user-friendly interfaces that enhance safety and driving satisfaction for BMW customers in China. Your strategic vision and UX design leadership will be essential in pushing the development of innovative ADAS solutions that meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations in the Chinese market. ● Your contributions as the UX Lead Designer for ADAS will help solidify BMW's position as a key competitor in autonomous driving technology in China. Major Responsibilities ● Coordination of China ADAS UI/UX concept creation (UI/UX requirement clarification, draft concept creation, fine concept creation, development phase) ● Creation of shared Product Vision ADAS/Navi for China, based on Data Analytics, (China) Benchmark input, anticipating trends ● Guarantee high UX qualitiy in the delivery of ADAS UI/UX for series implementation, following the user centered design process ● Identification of relevant UI/UX requirements from China for global implementation ● Strategic exchange for required framework changes e.g. for Core UI, IPA, 3D vehicle, etc. Qualifications ● Education / Degree: Bachelor degree or above in Human Machine Interaction, Psychology, UX Design, Visual Design, Human Factors or similar. ● Extensive experience in User-Centered Design Processes and User Research Methods for validating UX concepts ● Deep understanding of HMI system development, with a focus on navigation and ADAS functionality, and comprehensive knowledge of HMI dependencies ● Strong structured and analytical thinking ● Proven team management and inter-cultural communication abilities ● Experience in project management and cross-functional leadership ● English communication skills (oral and written) ● Strong sense of ownership and commitment to achieving and delivering results ● Innovative thinking with a front-runner mentality, able to adopt the company's perspective Experience ● Working Experience as UI/UX Designer ● UI/UX design for automotive HMI ● ADAS/Navi relevant experiences
